probes only really need +-5C range but in testing maybe need +20C

we are using DS1631 we were in a large range with little sensitivity around 0C

it produces 12 bit value in 0.8s which must be converted to C

Maybe thermistor (on edge of PCB? offboard may be too much wiring) configured for around zero? A simple thermistor and amp may be best if we have time to develop it

LM35 is interesting 10mV/C

DS600 with amp? 0C is 509mV so with an offset and small gain we could tune to 0C

we need calibration of full probes in June July!.
